Temporary residence permit in Poland — for work, family or study

A temporary residence card (karta pobytu czasowego) is the most common way to live and work legally in Poland. We prepare the documents, file your application and handle the case until you have the card in your hand. From 2300 zł, payable in three instalments.

Who it’s for

  • Work — you have an employer in Poland.
  • Family reunification — your spouse or parent already lives legally in Poland.
  • Study — you study at a Polish university.

Not sure which basis applies to you? Tell us your situation on a free call and we’ll advise.

What we do

  • Check your documents and tell you what’s missing.
  • Fill in the application and prepare the full set for the voivodeship office (urząd wojewódzki).
  • File the application and answer the case officer’s requests.
  • Follow your case and keep you updated at every step.
  • If you’re refused — an appeal or a new application with no fee for our work.

How long it takes

By law, the office has 90 days, but in practice it takes longer. A work-based card currently takes about 12 months on average from filing to the card itself; other types take longer. The exact time depends on the voivodeship and the individual case officer, so nobody can promise you a date.

How the process works

  1. Free call: we work out your basis and situation.
  2. Contract and first payment.
  3. We collect and check your documents and file the application.
  4. We handle the case: fingerprints, additional documents, the case officer’s questions.
  5. Decision and collecting your card.

Questions

What should I bring to the first meeting?

Above all, your passport. Everything else depends on your basis — we’ll send you a list after the call.

I don’t live in Wrocław.

We handle cases all over Poland online and send the contract and documents via InPost at our expense.

Can it be faster?

Only by legal means, such as an official complaint about the delay. See “Speeding up your case” for details.

What if I’m refused?

We find out why and file an appeal or apply again. You don’t pay for our work — only the government fee.

Tell us about your case

We’ll call you back within 15 minutes and tell you where to start. No need for your passport or scans yet.
